Kidnappers Demand N100m Ransom to Release Hotelier, Staff Abducted in Ogbomoso

A few days after the kidnap of a staff of former governor Alao-Akala of Oyo State in Ogbomoso area of the state, kidnappers have struck again in Ogbomoso, abducting a hotelier and one of his workers.

The hotelier, whose name is given as Oluwagbemiga Owolabi, and one of his workers, a lady simply identified as Rachael, were abducted on Thursday evening in the hotel – Tana Suite – in Abaa, by men suspected to be Fulani herders and Yoruba elements.

Meanwhile, the abductors of the hotelier have established contact with the family of the man, requesting a ransom of N100m to secure the release of the two.

Nonetheless, the source lamented, “But how can we raise such amount of money? People should pray for us.”

Mr. Oluwagbemiga Owolabi, is said to be hypertensive and so maintains his health by taking prophylactic drugs on regular basis.
