The Executive Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde has extended his profound gratitude to the good people of Oyo State, who stood firmly and ensured he returned re-elected for a second term in office.
Makinde, who rolled out a long list of groups, associations, artisans, teachers among others, thanked his party leaders and elders who stood firmly for him.
Among the leaders and elders mentioned include: Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland, Chief Yekini Adeojo, Chief Kola Daisi, Chief Eddy Oyewole, Chief Bayo Akande and other members of Olubadan-in-Council, Chief Dotun Sanusi, Lateef Oyelade, Oriyomi Hamzat, Mogajis and Baales.
Others mentioned were, Former First Lady, Mrs Florence Ajimobi who said the governor has done well.
Similarly, he thanked the All Progressives Congress, Chief Niyi Akintola, Olugbon of Ile Igbon, Okere of Saki, and Olu of Igboora.
