Governor ‘Seyi Makinde has commiserated with the Oyo East Local Government Chairman, Mr. Saheed Adeyemi Arowosaye(AROSAD) on the death of his mother, Mrs. Sidikat Arowosaye.

Alhaja Sidikatu died on Saturday at the age of 85.

Expressing his condolences to the council chairman and members of the Arowosaye family, Makinde prayed that God would grant repose to the soul of their beloved one.

A statement by the Special Assistant (Print Media), Moses Alao, quoted the governor as charging the Council chairman to take heart and take solace in the fact that Mama left behind a good legacy, including the chairman and other children.

The deceased has been buried by 4 pm today at her residence behind Oyo Chief Imam’s house, Oyo West.
