Governor Seyi Makinde today hosted governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital for a meeting.

The governors, who arrived at the conference center around 1 p.m. in a coaster bus, immediately joined Governor Makinde for a closed-door session.

The meeting, which was presided over by the chairperson of the PDP Governors Forum, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state, also covered the state of security in Nigeria extensively.

Governor ‘Seyi Makinde shared; “At the PDP Governors’ Forum in Ibadan today, we discussed various national issues: state policing, restructuring, ranching, and the Electoral Act. We called on the President to send an executive bill to the National Assembly to amend the constitution to provide for state policing.”
