Oyo State Governor ‘Seyi Makinde will today, March 6, 2025, present the staff and instruments of office to the reappointed Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, today,
The ceremony will mark the official reinstatement of Oba Adegbola as the traditional ruler of Eruwa, the headquarters of Ibarapa East Local Government Area.
A government source confirmed to westernmirror that the brief ceremony will hold at the executive chambers of the governor’s office.
Recall that Oba Adegbola’s initial appointment was annulled in 2011 following a legal dispute over his selection process.
After years of litigation and resolution of chieftaincy matters, the Oyo State Government has reinstated him, recognizing his leadership in Eruwaland.
