Makinde Writes Oyo Assembly, Officially Resumes Work After Vacation

The Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde has officially notified the State House of Assembly of the conclusion of his vacation and resumption of duty.

This was contained in a letter sent to the assembly by the governor.

It was was read at yesterday’s plenary by the Speaker, Adebo Ogundoyin.

Makinde stated: “In line with the provision of Section 190(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, the letter was meant to officially inform the House of the conclusion of his vacation and his resumption of duty.”

Recall that the Assembly granted the request of Makinde to proceed on vacation between 11 of August 11, 2022 and September 2, 2022.
