The people of Iseyinland in Oyo State are eagerly preparing to welcome the 30th Monarch, Aseyin Designate Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri, as he begins the spiritual rites to ascend the throne of his forefathers. The Akando Royal Family of Aseyin released a statement today announcing that the Aseyin Designate will arrive in Iseyin on Monday, September 25, 2023.
According to Mogaji Lawal Fatai Oladimeji, who spoke on behalf of the Akando Royal Family, the sons and daughters of Iseyinland both at home and abroad are expected to join in the celebration as they welcome the 30th Aseyin of Iseyin from Kilometer 2, Iseyin/Ibadan Road, Iseyin with great joy and excitement.
The Aseyin Designate will embark on a tour of the major communities in Iseyin, including Ekunle, Isalu, Oremoje, Koso, Ladogan, Oke Esa, and other historical places before participating in the coronation rites in the evening of the same day. As part of the day’s activities, the monarch will briefly sit at Technical College, Iseyin between 4pm and 5:30pm.
Mogaji Oladimeji expressed his prayers for a successful arrival and coronation of the Aseyin Designate, wishing him a long life and good health so that Iseyin can continue to thrive and develop.
