Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, on Saturday defeated Lobi Stars of Makurdi by three goals to nil in match day 23 of the 2021/2022 season of the Nigerian Professional Football League.
An early opening by Emmanuel Lucky in the 3rd minute followed by a goal in the 17th minute by the same player put the Oluyole Warriors ahead of the visiting team who tried to break through their opponent’s defence without success.
Substitution by the Shooting Stars team Substitution 3SC in the 67th minute of the match saw Opeoluwa Olufemi come in for Gafar Olafimihan and Achibi Ewenike replace Gali Falke.
Substitute Ayo Adejubu increased the goals making it three to nil in the 82nd minute.
With this win, the Oluyole Warriors are 11th on the league table with 30 points amassed from 23 matches.
Meanwhile, 3SC player, Emmanuel Lucky is the first Shooting Stars player to score brace in a match at the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League 2021/22 season.
