Olubadan Condemns Call for Interim Govt, Says Plan is Undemocratic

Ahead of the inauguration of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II, has condemned those canvassing for an Interim National Government.

Oba Balogun stated this at his Alarere palace in Ibadan when the Amalgamated APC Support Groups (AASG) in South-West visited him to round-off the city-round rally, organised by the group to counter those calling for Interim Government.

The frontline monarch described the calls as undemocratic and irritating, wondering why certain individuals in the opposition camp will be calling for annulment of an election that was successfully conducted by the nation’s electoral body.
