One person was feared dead and several others injured after a fire broke out at the residence of former Oyo State Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala in Ogbomoso.
The incident was confirmed by a family source, who attributed the fire to a power surge that occurred between 7.30 am and 8 am.
According to the source, “We experienced a power surge this morning, and it consumed one person. One person also sustained serious injuries.” Another source mentioned that many people sustained injuries in the incident.
