Oyo 2023: 3 Serving APC Governors, Lawmakers Visit Ladoja’s Ibadan Residence

Three incumbent governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) have reportedly made a visit to the Ibadan home of former Oyo State Governor, Senator Adewolu Rashidi Ladoja, on Sunday afternoon.

The governors are Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa state, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state and Governor Mai Buni of Yobe state.

APC Senator AbdulFatai Buhari, Oloye Sharafadeen Alli, Hon. Bimbo Adepoju, and others led them into the Ibadan high chief’s Ondo street residence.

Though the facts of what they talked about were vague as of press time, it was gathered that the meeting was held in an attempt to entice the well-known politician to join the ruling APC in a bid to have a soft landing in the state and reclaim it for the party.

The meeting was held behind closed doors between 1:35 and 2:29 p.m.

Recall that the APC lost the state to the PDP in the 2019 governorship election after eight years of power.

Meanwhile, the Governors declined to speak with newsmen after the meeting.
