Esteemed executives, local government and ward leaders, stakeholders, and all faithful members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) here in Oyo State, I greet you with profound respect and gratitude on this momentous day. I stand before you, deeply honoured, as I officially join this great party, a platform built on the foresight and sacrifices of its founding fathers. The APC has, over the years, championed transformative policies, fostered unity, and delivered progress across Nigeria, and it has earned its place as an emblem of hope for millions. I am humbled to join a party with such a legacy, and I salute every one of you for your commitment to its ideals.
For years, I have dedicated my life to passionate endeavours that drive real change, rooted in my unshakable belief in good governance. As an educator and policy advocate, I have worked tirelessly, home and abroad, to ensure systems work for the people—where education empowers, opportunities abound, and leaders serve with integrity. Today, I join the APC because I see a party that shares this vision, a party whose principles align with my dream of a revitalised Oyo State. I believe the APC is populated by some of the best brains, political juggernauts, and sound ideological minds, and can deliver not just victory for the party but also a future where Oyo State and our nation thrive.
I am not here merely to advance my political aspirations or agenda—I am here because I genuinely believe in the APC as a party, in its ideological foundations, and in the democratic principles it upholds. I am eager to explore these opportunities alongside other noteworthy individuals in the party, not with rivalry, but with a sincere commitment to democratic ideals. I do not see myself as more important than any member, whether new or old, and I trust this spirit of equality resonates with all of us. I am confident that together, we can harness the APC’s platform to build a state where governance means accountability, fairness, and progress for all.
It is my commitment to abide by the rules and codes of the APC, and I hope for fair treatment as a member of this great family, too. My intention is to contribute humbly, to learn, and to serve with the same passion that has driven me all these years. I am confident that with our collective efforts, we can make things work in Oyo State—and ensure that roads are built, schools are equipped, and opportunities are created for every citizen. Good governance is about putting the people first, and I am ready to work hand in hand with the APC to make this a reality for our state.
I extend my deepest gratitude to my political allies, the dedicated members of the Aseyori Support Group (ASG), and every well-meaning person who has believed in me and supported my journey. Your faith in my vision has brought me this far, and I am forever grateful. To the APC, I say a heartfelt thank you for welcoming me with warm hands into this fold. Your acceptance means the world to me, and I am truly honoured to be part of this movement for progress.
To all party members and the good people of Oyo State, I assure you that the best days of our state are ahead of us. I am willing to commit my all—my energy, my experience, and my heart—to the development of the APC and the advancement of Oyo State. We can together build a state where every child has a chance, every family thrives, and every corner of our geopolitical zone prospers. I am here to serve, collaborate, and to deliver, with the APC as our vehicle for change.
