Hon. Wasiu Olatunbosun, the Oyo State Commissioner for Information and other members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) serving under Governor ‘Seyi Makinde’s administration, on Tuesday, officially announced their defection to the ruling PDP.

GOALPOACHER News reports that their defection, was made known at a press conference organised by ADC at an event centre located at Bodija, Ibadan.

In the meantime, commissioners who defected alongside Hon. Olatunbosun include – Hon. Adebisi (Commissioner for Agric) and Barrister Seun Asamu (Commissioner for Energy).

Speaking on behalf of the decampees, Hon. Wasiu Olatunbosun added that other defectors include – special advisers to the governor, elected vice-chairmen at local governments, elected councillors and supervisory councillors.

Meanwhile, Hon. Olatunbosun noted that the party members made the decision to integrate themselves into the PDP fold, to further enhance the reelection of Governor ‘Seyi Makinde in 2023.
