A former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and a former ADC governorship aspirant in Oyo state, Engineer Remi Oseni on Monday, paid a visit to Fatai Ibikunle, who is a leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the state.
Oseni was received by other top stakeholders of the party at the Alalubosa, Ibadan home of the Lanlate-born politician.
It would be recalled that Oseni on Saturday, met Adebayo Adelabu, the APC governorship candidate in the 2019 election.
He also met Barrister Sarafa Alli briefly at his Bodija home in continuation of his courtesy visit to APC party gladiators, in preparation for the 2023 general elections.
Speaking on the purpose of his visit, Oseni said he was going out to meet all members of the APC in Oyo state, in order to position the party for victory in the 2023 election.
He said, “For me, I am not for any factional party but to unite everyone. We have to go into the election united.”
Oseni, who hails from Ido local government, said that his non-governmental organisation, Remi Oseni Committee of Friends, ROCOF, has brought a new dimension into 2023 election activities in the state.
“In the next few weeks, things would be more clearer. It is in the light of this that it has become expedient for me to visit all the gladiators in the party”, he said.
While expressing his desire to collaborate with the APC chieftains in the coming election, he also promised to meet with other gladiators within the party so as to collectively reposition the party for victory.
In his response, Ibikunle thanked Oseni for his visit, describing him as a true democrat.
