The Oyo State government delegation on Saturday paid a condolence visit to the Iseyin residence of a former state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Omokunmi Mustapha, whose son died in the United States of America a few days ago.
The delegation which was led by the deputy governor, Barrister Adebayo Lawal had a member of the governor’s advisory committee, Senator Gbenga Babalola, Special Assistant to the governor on legislative matters, Hon Ademola Adejumo, Special Assistant on Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Abdulrasheed among others.
The deputy governor expressed deep condolence to the family over the demise of their beloved son.
He said: “Losing a son at such a tender age can be painful indeed.
“We can’t question Allah. He gives and takes. We pray that Almighty Allah recognises the many good deeds of the late son to the family, humanity and grant him Aljana Fidaus”, he added.
