The Oyo State Executive Council has announced the appointment of HRM Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse, Paramount Ruler of Emuoha Kingdom as the Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho.

The State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr Wasiu Olatubosun in a release made available to OyoAffairs.net and other newsmen, made this known after the State Executive Council meeting held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

According to Olatunbosun, LAUTECH will benefit from the rich experience of the first class monarch as an administrator, community leader and a reverred traditional ruler.

In the meantime, Olatubosun has stated that the appointment takes immediate effect.
