Oyo Govt Encourages Ibadan Residents to Patronise Scout-Camp Market

In a bid to boost the capacities of local farmers and enhance the livelihoods of traders, the Oyo State government has enjoined residents to patronise scout-camp market.

According to the government, increased local patronage would strengthen the local economy and increase the state’s Gross Domestic Products (GDP).

Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, the Oyo State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, made this appeal in Ibadan, after a visit to the market on Thursday.

Olatubosun hinted that the government built and equipped the modern market for traders, to end street trading, adding that Scout Camp is government-owned, supervised by the State Ministry of Trade and Investment.
