Oyo Govt’ Releases List of Shortlisted Nominees for Most Impactful Young Persons Award

Oyo State Government through the ministry of Youth and Sports has announced the shortlisted nominees for the Most Impactful Young Persons award in 2025. The award, themed “Unlocking Youth Potential; Addressing Needs, Fulfilling Dreams,” recognizes outstanding young individuals between 18 and 40 years old who have excelled in their chosen fields and contributed to state and national development.

Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration has prioritized youth development and empowerment, evident in the recent constitution of a youth-dominated cabinet.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports will soon announce the date for the commencement of voting to select the winners of each category for the Most Impactful Young Persons award.

According to Honourable Wasilat Adegoke, the released list is the second-to-last step, allowing nominees to participate in the voting process, with the public ultimately choosing the winners of the twenty categories.
