The Oyo State High Court will on April 14 embark on Easter recess till April 21, according to Justice Munta Abimbola, the State Chief Judge.

He disclosed this on Wednesday in Ibadan.

Justice Abimbola however said that during the period, civil actions might be heard where such actions were urgent or a judge at the request of all the parties concerned, agreed to hear such actions.

“In exercise of the powers conferred on me by paragraph 4(b) of Order 45 of the High Court (civil procedure) Rules 2010, by virtue of all other powers enabling me on that behalf, I, therefore, appoint the period.

“The recess will commence from April 14 to April 21, 2022, the two dates are inclusive as Easter recess of the High Court of Justice of Oyo State,” he said.
