Oyo NUJ Chair, Demola Babalola Loses Mum

The chairman, Oyo state chapter of Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ Oyo State, Mr. Demola Babalola has announced the death of his mother, Mama Wulemot Aweni Babalola .

Dembab as fondly called by colleagues and many others made the announcement on his official Facebook page early Sunday morning.

He wrote

We announce with deep sorrow the passing of our mother, Mama Wulemot Aweni Babalola.

A Matriarch of Muraina Oladiti Babalola’s Family, Mama passed on, on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the age of 76 years.

Location: Family House, Olorunsogo-Akanran Road, Palupo Community, Asegun Group of Schools, Asolo Bus Stop, Ibadan

She is survived by the Children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren

Mama was a devout Muslim and respected Otun Iya Adeen of Palupo Muslim Community, Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State.

May Allah grant Mama Wulemot Aweni Babalola a peaceful rest and admit her into Jannah. May her legacy live on through all of us, in the family.
