OYSCATECH Announces Date For Post UTME Screening, Criteria for Eligibility

The Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora, has announced the date for this year’s Post-UTME screening exercise.

In a statement signed by Paul Oyediran, Acting Registrar, the school directed prospective candidates to visit the school website for details of the admission processes.

Also, applicants who have chosen the OYSCATECH as their institutions of first choice have been asked to log on to the admission portal on www.oyscatech.edu.ng for post UTME registration as the Post-UTME screening commences next week.

The statement reads:
“Notice is hereby given to all candidates who chose OYSCATECH as their Institution of first choice or those willing to change to OYSCATECH as their Institution of first choice in the 2021 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that the third Post-UTME Screening Exercise will be conducted on Tuesday, January 25 and Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 8:00 a.m each day.

“For a candidate to be eligible for the exercise, he or she must have scored 100 marks and above in the 2020/2021 UTME. Applicants are to note that before admission can be offered by the polytechnic, they must have uploaded their O’Level results on CAPS and once admission is offered, the candidates must either accept or reject the admission on CAPS before JAMB’s closure of CAPS for the year in order to be on JAMB Matriculation list for the year.

“As a Polytechnic located in a serene environment, the institution runs courses which include; Mechanical Engineering, Computer engineering, Computer Science, Public Administration, Accountancy, Office Technology and Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Science Laboratory Technology, Library Information Science, Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry and other Agricultural related courses”.

For Aspirants who did not choose OYSCATECH in the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination but are willing to choose OYSCATECH, the institution management advised them to apply for a change of institution and pick OYSCATECH as first choice.
