PHOTOS: Makinde Presents 2021 Outstanding Merit Award to OYRTMA, Honours 99 Others (See Full List)

The Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde has on Tuesday decorated the Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) as the ‘Most Outstanding Agency in the year 2021’.

While making the presentation today at the Emeritus Prof. Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, UCH, Ibadan, the governor commended the OYRTMA boss, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, saying “I’m proud of you”.

Also, an Officer of the Agency, RTS, Temitope Samson Adesoji has been recognised as an outstanding civil servant in the year 2021 by the Oyo State government.

Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman OYRTMA, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi expressed heartfelt gratitude to God Almighty and the Executive Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde for finding the agency worthy of such meritorious award of excellence. 

He dedicated the award to all the officers and men of the agency who jettisons personal comfort for the humanitarian service of traffic management and saving lives.

In the meantime, about 98 others from all ministries, departments and agencies in Oyo State were also given special recognition award.

The three outstanding awardees of the most efficient civil/public servant for 2021 are: Mr John Tola Adelowo (most efficient management staff in the state), Tijani Nurudeen Adeniyi (most efficient senior staff in the state) and Tolulope Esther Idris (most efficient junior staff in the state).

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources headed by Hon. Temilolu Seun Ashamu, also bagged the most efficient ministry award.
