Police Recruitment: Oyo Police Release Dates For Screening Exercise Across LGs

The Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP. Joe Nwachukwu Enwonwu has declared that all candidates who successfully completed the online recruitment registration exercise should show up for the physical and credential screening scheduled to hold between Monday 24th August 2020 to Sunday 6th September 2020 at the Conference hall, State Headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan by 9 am to 6 pm daily.

The Oyo Police Authority, in a statement issued on Friday, instructed Applicants to appear at the Nigeria Police Force, State Headquarters, Eleyele Ibadan in their clean white T-shirts and shorts with the following mandatory basic requirements:

i. National identity number (NIN);
ii. Original and duplicate copies of credentials – O’ Level result (s),
iii. Certificate of origin
iv. Birth Certificate/Declaration of age-neatly arranged in two white flat files with recent passport photographs attached;
v. Printout of application submission confirmation page
vi. Duly completed Guarantor’s form.

“It should be noted that all candidates who fail to present (i-vi) above, will not be considered for the screening, while online registration still continues till 12 midnight on Sunday 23rd August 2020. The screening and other activities touching on the recruitment exercise will be carried out in strict compliance with COVID-19 prevention protocols.

“The Commissioner of Police, therefore, reiterates that the recruitment exercise is absolutely free of charge and without any pecuniary obligation and should be treated as such, while the recruitment process will be conducted in an atmosphere of transparency and accountability.

“Consequently, the CP advises the applicants to be wary of criminal elements and scammers who might want to take the advantage of the recruitment exercise to dupe innocent applicants, while given a stern warning that whoever that is caught in the web will be arrested and prosecuted according to extant laws. However, the schedule of the Screening chat with dates is hereby attached in Appendix A for all the applicants to note for necessary action.”
