A former deputy chief of staff in the administration of late former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala of Oyo State, Rasak Gbadegesin Kareem, has resigned his appointment as a member of the state advisory council in the ‘Seyi Makinde administration.
In a letter dated 6th July and addressed to Makinde through Bolaji Ayorinde who is the chairman of the council, Agbeti as the Ogbomoso-born politician is widely known, said he remains a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for now.
RESIGNATION FROM THE OYO STATE ADVISORY COUNCIL
I, Alhaji Rasak Gbadegesin Kareem, hereby respectfully tender my resignation as a member of the Oyo State Advisory Council, with immediate effect.
I wish to express my sincere appreciation for the trust, confidence, and opportunity extended to me to serve on this esteemed Council. It has been a privilege to contribute, in my modest capacity, to the growth, development, and progress of our dear State.
