Schools Resume On Monday — Oyo Government Reiterates

The Oyo State Government has maintained that students in Primary 6, JSS 3, and SS3 will resume back to school on Monday, 6th July 2020.

This announcement was made in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye.

Olaleye affirmed that the State Government has taken all necessary precautions to protect the students.

Olaleye urged parents to perform their own responsibility by ensuring that their children are provided with nose masks.

In the statement, the Commissioner said
“This is to inform the general public that students in primary 6, JSS 3 and SSS3 are to resume back to school on Monday 6th July 2020.

“The Commissioner for Education Science and Technology Barr, Olasunkanmi Olaleye made the declaration today in his office in Ibadan on Sunday.

“The Commissioner assured parents, guidance and all the stakeholders of the children’s safety, stressing that the State government has taken necessary steps to guide the children.

“He, therefore, appealed to the parents and all involved to provide nose mask on a daily basis for their wards when coming to school.”
