Senator Kola Balogun has called for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state to forget the past and rebuild the party unconditionally.
He emphasized the need for people to come together to put the party in order and maintain its relevance in the state.
Senator Balogun made these known while featuring on South West Political Circuit’ a programme on Ibadan-based radio station, Fresh 105.9FM, on Saturday.
The Senator also praised the 9th National Assembly for its performance in budget passage and good relationship with the executive arm of government, but expressed concern about the functions of the executive arm encroaching on those of the legislature.
He hopes that the incoming 10th National Assembly will focus more on lawmaking and oversight functions rather than project facilitation.
Additionally, he shared how he worked to break the monopoly of Overland airline in Ibadan by bringing Air Peace to operate in the city.
