The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has congratulated the Governor-Elect of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke on his victory in the just concluded election.
Governor Makinde took to his official twitter account to celebrate his PDP brother as he noted that it was a pleasure to have a second PDP Governor in the Southwest.
His words: “On behalf of the government and the good people of Oyo State, I congratulate the Governor-Elect, Senator @AAdeleke_01 and the people of Osun State on this victory. It’s great to have a second @OfficialPDPNig flag flying in the southwest.
Truly, power resides with the people.”
Adeleke was declared the winner by INEC this morning after winning in 17 local government areas and garnering 403,371 votes.
