Sulaiman, Victim of Ibadan Bullion Van Attack Buried Amidst Tears

The remains of Mubarak Olanrewaju Sulaiman, one of the victims of the Thursday’s robbery incident at Idi-Ape area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, have been buried in line with Islamic rites at a Muslim Cemetery in Akinyele, Ibadan.

The deceased who was buried on Thursday night, was said to be one of the innocent people killed during the robbery incident.

Some of the deceased’s close associates and friends have revealed during a chat with press men that he was an easy going man who was ready to assist anyone who comes his way.

He was buried after his body was released at the University College Hospital (UCH), where he was moved shortly after the incident.

Contrary to police claim that the deceased was an onlooker, it was gathered that the deceased was on his way to his Ajibode residence along with one of his children, when he met his untimely death.

The 37-year old man was said to have been returning from Ikire in Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State, where he had gone to pick his son.

Meanwhile, Sulaimon’s two-year-old son, who was in the car with his father, was lucky to escape unhurt.
