Tegbe Felicitates Ogbomoso Monarch At 95

…Calls the Soun An Icon of Peace and Development


Tegbe Foundation Founder, Mogaji Olasunkanmi Tegbe has expressed his well-wishes to the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade III on his 95th birthday.

He described the Soun as a good king who has been a driving force behind the peace and social development enjoyed by Ogbomoso people, adding that Ogbomoso has grown economically, socially and politically under the celebrant’s reign.

Tegbe, a Federal Government College, Ogbomoso alumnus is married to an Ogbomosho indigene; Mrs. Abimbola Tegbe, daughter of former Minister; Alhaji Oladunni Ayandipo of Alubata compound, Ogbomoso. With his numerous ties to the city, he referred to the revered ruler as his father.

He also recalled the role the Soun played at his wedding ceremony as Father of the Day over 30 years ago and prayed for the Almighty to add more years to the Soun’s life so Ogbomosho and Oyo State will continue to benefit from his wisdom and statesmanship.
