Tegbe, Obasanjo Attend Owu-Ibadan Annual Festival in Ibadan

The Oyo South Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the 2023 general elections, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, on Saturday joined sons and daughters of Owu kingdom to celebrate 2023 edition of Owu-Ibadan Annual Festival in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The event which took place at Aafin Baale Olugbode was chaired by Former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Tegbe in a statement made available to newsmen noted that he was glad to identify with Owu descendants.

He said: “I join the Royal Union of Owu people to celebrate this year’s edition of Owu-Ibadan Annual Festival, which held at Aafin Baale Olugbode and Chaired by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

“I am enthused by the warm response by Owu descendants who share a common ancestry with my mother. I am glad to identify with my people.

“The annual fest, which is a celebration of Owu heritage, is observed by all Owu descendants in Ibadan, and beyond”, he added.
