TESCOM Announces Date for Verification Exercise for 577 Outstanding Teachers

The Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has announced the procedure for the verification exercise for the 577 outstanding teachers who are yet to receive their appointment letters.

This was contained in a document signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mrs. Olabisi Oderinde which was made available to newsmen on Monday.

It would be recalled that the Seyi Makinde-led administration through the Commission had recently recruited 5,000 teachers into the teaching profession in the State.

However, 577 successful applicants were unable to receive appointment letters and proceed to their respective school of assignment due to some errors arising from misspelling of names and other minor irregularities.

According to the statement, the exercise will hold at the TESCOM office from 1st to 3rd March, 2021 at 8am.-4pm daily.

TESCOM VERIFICATION EXERCISE FOR 577 Outstanding Teachers list.

Dear Teaching Applicants,

This is to notify you that TESCOM in collaboration with MIC call for verification of Step-down lists of 577 remaining applicants whose name appeared as successful in any of the three batches earlier released.

Please bring along the following documents for verification: –

1) Computer printout after uploading
2) CBT print out/Result of CBT
3) Interview card
4) Certificates and other relevant documents
