Two Die as Operation Burst, Residents Clash in Ogbomoso

One of the men of Operation Burst and a resident in Iluju community, Orire local government area of Oyo state, have been reported dead as a result of an unrest which occurred during an organised football match.

According to an eye witness, someone left a motorcycle on the field where a group of people had scheduled to play football and this led to a level of misunderstanding, compelling one of the factions to invite the men of Operation Burst.

It was however gathered that the Operation Burst officers were unable to restore peace at the scene as one of the officers allegedly shot a villager while trying to intervene.
