Wrong Zoning Reason For G5, We Won’t Backdown Without Justice, Fairness – Wike Reiterates

The Executive Governor of Rivers state, Dr Nyesom Wike, has maintained that the G5 governors will continually stand for equity, fairness and justice for the sustenance of the Democratic progress of the country.

Wike, who made this statement at a state banquet organised in honour of the 2023 re-election Campaign bid of Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo state held at the Agodi Gardens, Ibadan, on Wednesday night added that the failure of the people’s Democratic Party to adopt the presidency zoning as the opposition party sparked G5′ s faction; called Seyi Makinde to continue good governance for the sake of history while he seeks re-election.

In his remark, Oyo State governor Seyi Makinde said Nigeria is at a turning point, and only the G5 has a prominent role to play in the forthcoming election of the country, which will begin declaration at the Mapo Hill Thursday afternoon.
