The initiative aimed at alleviating financial burden many families face during the festive season was well-received by the beneficiaries, who expressed gratitude.

The event at the Presidential Lodge of the Oyo State Government House attracted hundreds of women across the 33 local government areas.

Mrs. Makinde emphasized importance of supporting one another, especially during challenging times, adding that the initiative was part of her effort to uplift women in the State.

Aside food stuff, cash gifts were also given to women to help them meet other pressing needs.
