2022 International Youth Day: YASR Commends Makinde’s Youthful Inclusion In Governance

A support group, Young Appointees for Seyi’s Re-election, YASR, has celebrated the youths of Oyo State for their resilience and continued support for Seyi Makinde-led administration.

YASR emphasised that the current administration is no doubt poised towards making life meaningful for youth demography and the entire citizens at large.

The team, composed of young political appointees serving under the current administration, acknowledged the fact that youths formed a very critical demography of the nation in all benchmarks and advised that other state governors adopt the strategies of Governor Seyi Makinde.

YASR, in a statement signed by Mr Deji Ola, who is the Personal Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde’s Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, commended its principal for his unquantifiable supports for youths, urging the entire indigenes and residents of Oyo state to ensure reciprocating this kind gestures by coming out enmass to rally for more supports for him.

“No doubt, our governor is endowed with strategies of good governance, part of which is placing special premium on the welfare of youths, sound engagement of youths and proper inclusion in his all-inclusive governance system,” the statement said.

Adding: “The number of youths in Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration can never be overemphasized. While appreciating the good people of the state for their dedication towards good governance, more productive initiatives, which will better the life of common man on the street are still in the pipeline as stated in the roadmap for accelerated development.

“So, the government of the day need the continuous support and prayers of the citizens and residents of the state.”
