Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal has assured that the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP would promote unity and ensure no one is left out in the progress of the party.
Barrister Lawal who expressed optimism that PDP will win the next election at both state and federal levels in Oyo State, said this while recieving Hon. Akinwale Akinwole, the Oyo North PDP Senatorial Candidate.
Chief Lawal said the party leaders need to work together and stay focused in unity as one indivisible family.
His words: “I am already reaching out to our people and some of our people including community leaders and traditional rulers have been engaging me too, I am sure of a good working relationship with everybody and victory for our party in 2023.
“I have told my people that everybody should vote for PDP at all levels and I am sure they will comply”, he added.
Earlier, Hon. Akinwale congratulated Barrister Lawal on his new position as the deputy governor and prayed for a successful and fruitful tenure.
He commended the deputy governor for his leadership role saying he was such a responsible leader whose quality character and lifestyle is worthy of emulation.
“I have no doubt in my mind that your leadership will usher in good development and progress to Oyo North and the state at large”, he stated.
