The Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde has announced that the 76.67 km Iseyin-Fapote-Ogbomoso Road is set to be commissioned by the end of May 2024.
The Governor made this declaration during the 10th Omituntun Ramadan Lecture and Anniversary Awards in Ibadan where he expressed gratitude to religious leaders and the Muslim community in Oyo State for their support and continuous religious harmony.
In his speech, Governor Makinde thanked the people of Oyo State for creating an enabling environment that has allowed his administration to achieve significant milestones. He also pledged to donate a new bus annually to spread the message of Islam, with the first bus set to be handed over to a mosque nominated by the guest lecturer at the Ramadan lecture.
