Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Alhaji Taofeek Arapaja has parted ways with Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde and picked PDP governorship form ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Amb. Arapaja, until he picked governorship form was National Secretary of Makinde’s PDP faction.
Naija Metro News observed that Arapaja was absent from all activities of Makinde led government after the viral news that Bimbo Adekanmbi was the preferred choice of Governor Makinde to fly PDP-APM ticket come 2027 general elections.
Oyo State now have three governorship aspirants that have shown interest through Wike’s PDP faction; Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi, Amofin Beulah Adeoye and Alhaji Taofeek Arapaja.
