The abducted twins of the immediate past Chairman, Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Muslim wing, Sheik Taofeeq Akeugbagold, have been freed.
The release of the twins was confirmed by the Oyo state police command public relations officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi in a chat with Oyo Affairs correspondent, this Sunday.
When quizzed if any ransom was paid, the police spokesperson said investigation is ongoing to nab the kidnappers.
The victims, Taiwo and Kehinde, were abducted around 8:00 PM on Saturday, 25th of April, 2020 at their parents residence.
