Another 19 People Test Positive In Ibadan Company As Oyo Coronavirus Cases Rise To 137

Another 19 cases have been recorded in the yet to named company in Ibadan as the number of confirmed cases in Oyo state rose to 137.

This brings the total number of cases in the said company to 57.

Engr Seyi Makinde, the state governor and the chairman of the Covid-19 task force in the state made this known in a tweet on his verified twitter account on Monday night.

He said “The COVID-19 confirmation tests for nineteen suspected cases came back POSITIVE.

“All nineteen of these cases are from the same organisation referred to in the update of May 16 and 17, 2020.

“So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 137.”

The state government is expected to make the name of the company public today to allow people who have visited or have contact with any of their staff come for Covid-19 test.
