APM Rep Candidate Oni Donates N4m to Religious, Traditional Institutions in Irepo/Oorelope/Olorunsogo

The candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) for the Irepo/Oorelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency, Okunrin Jeje Abiodun Oni, has donated a total of ₦4 million to religious and traditional institutions across his constituency as part of his thank-you tour.

The donations were presented during visits to the three local government areas that make up the federal constituency, where Oni expressed appreciation to residents for their support and encouragement.

Under the initiative, ₦1 million was donated to the Alhaji Amidu Agbaje Central Mosque in Kishi, Irepo Local Government Area, while another ₦1 million was presented to the Igbeti Central Mosque in Olorunsogo Local Government Area.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Olorunsogo Local Government chapter, also received ₦1 million to support ongoing church-related development projects.

In addition, Oni donated ₦1 million to Ijo Adimula Olorisa Papo in Igbeti, Olorunsogo Local Government Area, as support for the traditional institution and the preservation of the community’s cultural heritage.

Speaking during the presentations, the APM candidate said the donations reflected his commitment to promoting religious harmony, community development, and respect for traditional institutions.

He noted that the financial support for the Muslim and Christian bodies was specifically intended to assist ongoing construction and development projects, while the donation to Ijo Adimula Olorisa Papo was aimed at strengthening the traditional institution.

Oni reaffirmed his commitment to the overall development of the Irepo/Oorelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency, pledging to continue supporting initiatives that foster unity, peace, and progress across the constituency.
