Arapaja, Babalola, Oseni, Arole, Ige, Ekolo, Others Dump ADC For PDP

Two former governorship candidates under the platform of the platform of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja and Engr. Remi Oseni, have defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

At the meeting which had a former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and other stakeholders in attendance, Arapaja, a former deputy governor and house of representatives member, decided to join the PDP with a team of his supports across the State.

Among other stakeholders following Arapaja Arapaja in the journey to PDP include; Mr. Akeem Ademola ige former Minority Leader, Oyo house of assembly and Mr. Olugbenga Arole, former Chairman Ibadan North East Local Government.

Others are; Hon. Dele Ojo and Fatai Adeshina who are former members of Oyo State House of Assembly, Mr. Abiodun Ekolo and Alhaji Ganiyu Obelomo who are former Chairmaen of Ibadan South East and Oluyole Local Governments respectively as well as Alhaji Akeem Ayelagbe, chairman of ADC, Oluyole Local Government among others.

In a press release signed personally, Oseni said his return to PDP, is indeed homecoming and it was a decision taken after a lot of consultation and deliberations with major stakeholders both at the grassroots and indeed among his political associates.

Oseni expressed his commitment and that of his followers to the process of rebuilding PDP to become a formidable and virile political party.

He joins party leaders like Prince Oyinlola, Engineer Segun Oni and others for the formal declaration ceremony, on Wednesday 18th of March 2020.
