The people of Asanmajana, Onigaari, Olose, and Idi-oro of Onikanyinkanyin have appealed to the Oyo State government to come to their rescue concerning the flooding this season.
Crying out for assistance, the residents said the recent heavy downpour, has caused flooding in the environment.
According to a resident: “One person died last year due to the heavy rainfall which made Hon. Taoreed Adedigba Jimoh, the Chairman of Akinyele Local Government paid a condolence visit to the community involved then.
“Now, the flooding has started again, urgent attention is needed by Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde”, he added.
