Former Atisbo LG Chairman, Supporters Return to PDP

Hon. Ayobami Ojo, the former chairman of Atisbo Local Government alongside his supporters, have returned to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo State.

Ojo made this known shortly after a closed door meeting with core stakeholders of the party, while also pledging his support for the reelection of Governor ‘Seyi Mankinde and Barrister Bayo Lawal as well as other candidates under the aegis of PDP, for the 2023 general elections.

According to him, “l am returning back to the PDP fold because of the developmental projects and programmes embarked upon by the Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde across the length and breath of state.

“Of particular interest are the ways he had turned things around in Oke-Ogun where I come from. From road constructions to upgrading and reconstructions of primary and secondary health care facilities, location of Faculty of Agricultural Science in Iseyin among others”, he added.

While reacting to the development, the Coordinator Seyi/Bayo campaign organisation in Atisbo Local Government and Former Chairman Atisbo Local Government, Alhaji Ismail Adedeji expressed delight and satisfaction.

He described Honourable Ayobami Ojo as a team player and big fish in Atisbo Local Government politics.

He assured him and his team of readiness to work closely with him for the realisation of the second term agenda of the party.

Present at the meeting were Barrister Farinto, Deputy Director General Seyi/ Bayo Campaign Organisation; Hon. Samuel Ademola Adejumobi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Legislative Matters; Elder Debo Adejumobi, Chairman, Oyo State Tourism and Culture among others.

In the meantime, Barrister Ojo represented Atisbo, Saki East State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly between 2011 to 2015.
