Former Oyo Governor, Olunloyo Endorses Makinde for Second Term, Asks Other Candidates to Wait

An elder statesman and former Governor of Oyo State, Dr Victor Omololu Olunloyo has on Wednesday endorsed the Executive Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde for his second term re-election bid in the state.

Baba Olunloyo, who made this declaration while fielding answers to an interview on Splash 105.5 FM in Ibadan, maintained that Makinde had brought a lot of development and innovations to Oyo State in the last four (4) years.

Olunloyo described Makinde’s administration as First Class and excellent, calling on contenders of the governor to exercise patience and wait till the governor is done with the development he has embarked on.

“I have seen a lot of innovations by Omituntun and I’m very impressed about his administration. His administration is excellent, his politics is not as strong as his administration, but his administration is first class.

“There are a few aspect of his politics that needs to be polished out concerning the coalition agreement. Not because of personal recognition, i’m the most experienced politician in Western Nigeria.

“The people of Oyo State should vote for ‘Seyi Makinde, other candidates should exercise patience till 2027. Bayo Adelabu should join with ‘Seyi and await his time.” Baba Olunloyo added.

In another development, Olunloyo further described the Naira redesign policy as a public disgrace as it has plunged Nigerians into suffering and inability to make good use of their hard earned fund, adding that Nigerians have never been put in such a mess.
