Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Oyo State Governor has flagged off the reconstruction project of Airport Road, Ajia-New Ife Express Road with a spur to Amuloko road.
The short event which took place on Wednesday at Ajia Junction, Ibadan/Ife Road was attended by dignitaries such as the deputy governor of Oyo State, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan; Alajia of Ajia, Oba Nureni Adegbenro, several top government officials and the residents of Egbeda Local Government Area.
Engineer Seyi Makinde announced that the construction of Airport Road, Ajia-New Ife Express Road with a spur to the Amuloko road project would cost about N8.5Billion.
The representative of the construction company in charge of the project, Engineer Olanrewaju Adeleke also indicated that the project should be completed within eighteen months
