Governor Makinde Visits Late Raymond Dokpesi’s Family in Abuja

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde, has paid a visit to the family of the late Media Mogul, High Chief Engr Raymond Dokpesi, at his home in Asokoro, Abuja. The purpose of the visit was to console the family over their loss and pay his last respects.

During the visit, Governor Makinde prayed to God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. He also reminded them that the late Media Mogul grew up in Ibadan, Oyo State, and was, by extension, a son of the state, even though he was originally from Edo State.

The Governor called on the family to continue to build on the legacies left behind by the late pioneer of private broadcasting in Nigeria. He commended the late Raymond Dokpesi for his contributions to the media industry in Nigeria and for being a voice for the voiceless.
