How Patrol Vans Tyres were Stolen at Agodi Police Station During Protest [VIDEO]

Concerned police officers have condemned the rage of people who feel affected with the non-availability of fuel and scarcity of money caused by the naira redesign policy and have attacked the Agodi Divisional Police Office in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

OyoAffairs.net in a footage shared on social media gathered that the protesters went further to loot the police station carting away tyres and properties of the station.

In the meantime, a police officer in a post on social media has stated that the actions of the attack is condemnable as the Nigeria Police Force is also being affected by the scarcity.

He wrote, “Still on Nigeria cash crisis, angry protesters attacked and looted Agodi Police Station in Ibadan. Even the Nigerian police personnel too are going through the same challenges as many other Nigerians, why attack and loot the police station? End SARS 2 loading if the situation isn’t nipped in the bud quickly.”
