Ibarapa Traditional Leaders Visit Newly-Elected LG Chairman





Newly-elected Ibarapa North Local Government Chairman, Mr. Akorede, received the Paramount Seven Kings of Ibarapa on his first day in office.



The new chairman received the Kings in his office and held a brief meeting with them to discuss the worrying spate of insecurity and Kidnapping in the region. They also discussed how the Chairman can work together with the traditional leaders to tackle insecurity at the local level.


While praying for the new chairman, the Obas expressed their commitment to the development of the Ibarapa zone, Oyo state, and Nigeria as a whole.

Reacting to the visit, Akorede thanked the Traditional leaders for their visit and their pledge to support his new government. He also promised to make the security challenge, education, agricultural development, and other developmental projects a priority of his administration.



Before the Obas arrived for the meeting, Mr. B. I. Amoo (JP), the Local Government Administration Head took the new Chairman on a tour of the secretariat.
