Keep Your Virginity Till Wedding Night — Popular Nollywood Actress, Biodun Okeowo Tells Daughter

Popular Nigerian Actress, Biodun Okeowo, popularly known as Omoborty, has maintained that her daughter must marry undefiled and have her marriage built on the altar of purity.

Biodun Okeowo, stated this on her official Instagram page in response to an Instagram user, who claimed that virginity is an embarrassment and nothing to be proud of.

In her post, Biodun Okeowo pleaded with her 18-year-old daughter, Boluwatife Okeowo not to listen to such a statement, but to keep her virginity till the wedding night.

“My daughter, if you are seeing this post don’t mind her oh. Keeping your virginity till the day you say ‘I do’ is not shameful,” she wrote.

“She talks to me and my brother a lot about things…Yes, it still comes down to what I said earlier, the way Mrs A will treat and train her daughter is different from how Mrs B will train her daughter, so the fact that many of my mum’s colleagues’ daughters have Instagram pages doesn’t mean I should have too.

“It is normal for people to have different ways of raising their kids, the most important thing is for parents to be able to provide the basic needs of every child which my brother and I are not lacking in any way. So every other thing is secondary, so I am happy, I am not on social media, and that will happen at the right time, I am super proud of the way she has raised us.
